LE CONTEXTE DU POSTE
Phillips-Van Heusen (PVH) Corp is one of the largest global branded lifestyle apparel company and a multibillion American based clothing company (www.pvh.com), with a broad portfolio of brands such as Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Van Heusen, IZOD, Arrow, as well as licenses brands such as Geoffrey Beene, BCBG Max Azria, Chaps, Sean John, Kenneth Cole New York, JOE Joseph Abboud and MICHAEL Michael Kors.
They launched in 2014 a very ambitious development plan to grow from scratch the Travel Retail Sales activities by focusing on the Calvin Klein brands (CK Jeans, CK Jeans Accessories, CK Performance, CK Platinum, CK Accessories and CK Underwear) within the Asia region. At the end of 2016, they will have opened more than 70 POS (doubled the number of POS in 2016 alone) across Asia (75%), Europe (25%) and about to open the first pilot doors in North America. Tommy Hilfiger counts currently around 25 POS (Europe and Asia).
Today, a Global Travel Retail entity (located in Hong Kong) has been set up and they are searching for the newly created role of VP Travel Retail to drive the "2nd phase" of the development of the Travel Retail Sales channel across Asia, EMEA and North America by focusing on a sustainable development that include structuring, business & strategic planning, retail performance optimization, global expansion for both Calvin Klein portfolio and Tommy Hilfiger brands.
LA MISSION
Reporting to the EVP and Managing Director Commercial Asia Pacific (based in Hong Kong), and in dotted line to the Regional President Asia Pacific for PVH who initiated the set up of the Travel Retail platform in 2014, you are ultimately responsible for:
• Owning the overall global travel retail commercial and marketing strategy for Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger brands to achieve budgeted sales revenues, market share and profitability:
- Calvin Klein portfolios brands: double sales revenue by 2020 (including strong focus on expanding in Korea, Japan, South East Asia, EMEA...)
- Tommy Hilfiger: conduct assessment on brand current and future potential across regions and develop the strategy, business plan on Brand Travel Retail integration, consolidation and POS network and sales development.
• Leveraging the existing Travel Retail platform to build synergies between both brands and fast track the growth of the Travel Retail channel
• Being in charge for the overall Travel Retail P&L
• Identifying and partnering with strategic TR operators and Travel Retail accounts to develop sales and manage, planning, buying & merchandise strategies, and stores’ network development and management
• Managing and motivating the Travel Retail teams (7 direct reports at the Asia and Europe offices) and developing the structure in line with overall development of the business and own-retail strategy
•Closely liaising with management from Finance, Merchandising, Buying, Distribution, IT, Marketing from the domestic market division

LES QUALITES REQUISES
• You have a minimum of 20 years of total experience including a minimum of 10 years in the Travel Retail Sector and proven experience in holding commercial functions with worldwide scope (EMEA, ASIA, North America) while delivering ambitious business targets.
• You have worked for leading multinational companies with complex matrix organization specialized preferably in branded apparels or fashion accessories. Talents from the beauty sector would also be considered.
• You have solid experience in building networks of standalone boutiques / shop in shop while able to cope with fast fashion pace and multi lines.
• You have a strong acumen for fashion, together with interest in trends, lifestyles, competitors, media and a consumer centric mindset.
• You have strong managerial and motivational skills to build collaborative and effective relationships with and between teams remotely located across the world.
• You have solid interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills that allows you to establish and maintain excellent relationships with all staff level (from field to senior managerial level) for both internal and external partners.
• You have a strong business development drive and entrepreneurial mindset while being able to work within creative, innovative process and ability to transform ideas into reality.
• You combine strategic and analytical mindset with rigorous organizational and business planning skills.
• You are fluent in English. Any other languages are a strong plus.
• You are willing to travel a minimum of 50%.
